HSI Dallas Raid at Chicas Bonitas Cabaret: Arrests, Seizures, and Efforts Against Human Trafficking

Federal authorities conducted a raid at a strip club in Dallas, arresting numerous suspected illegal immigrants and seizing a significant amount of U.S. currency. The operation was carried out by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Dallas, with the support of various law enforcement agencies, to address human trafficking and unlawful employment concerns at Chicas Bonitas Cabaret.

A total of 41 illegal immigrants were apprehended during the operation, with 29 individuals suspected of working illegally at the club. ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Dallas Field Office took these individuals into custody for administrative immigration violations. Some of the arrested suspects have been convicted of criminal offenses related to their illegal entry into the U.S.

Among the convicted individuals are Julios Cesar Martinez, Victor Manuel Manzano-Ramirez, Gustavo Rojas-Garda, and Genaro Diaz-Perez, all from Mexico, with charges ranging from assault to driving under the influence and prostitution. Another suspect, Juan Carlos Salas Medina, also from Mexico, is accused of illegally entering the U.S. multiple times and has convictions for aggravated assault, drug possession, and DUI.

In addition to the arrests, HSI Dallas seized approximately $30,000 in U.S. currency and various business records as part of their ongoing criminal investigation into the strip club. Travis Pickard, the special agent in charge of HSI Dallas, emphasized the agency's commitment to combating sex trafficking and working with partners to disrupt such operations and identify potential victims.

Neighboring business owners near the strip club reported no unusual activities before the raid, but they noted a slowdown in business following the arrests. The collaborative efforts of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies aim to address human trafficking and illegal employment practices in the community, ensuring the safety and security of residents.
