New Documents Implicate Trump Associates in Epstein Scandal: Oversight Committee to Release Records

The House Oversight and Accountability Committee, led by Democrats, has obtained new documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. These documents reportedly mention three close associates of President Donald Trump. The Oversight committee plans to release these records to the public after redacting victims' names.
The Democrats' statement specifically names Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel, former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, and entrepreneur Elon Musk as individuals mentioned in the Epstein files. Musk previously claimed that Bannon was referenced in the confidential documents, a claim supported by the Oversight committee's statement.
According to the Democrats' memo, the documents reveal scheduled meetings between Thiel and Bannon with Epstein, as well as a planned trip by Musk to Epstein's island. Additionally, emails reviewed by Bloomberg show that Alan Dershowitz, a former Trump impeachment attorney and Epstein's former lawyer, made disparaging remarks about Epstein's victims.
The Oversight committee's memo also implicates Prince Andrew, a disgraced member of the royal family, in the Epstein scandal. Prince Andrew is listed as a passenger on Epstein's aircraft, with financial records suggesting payments from Epstein to masseuses on behalf of an individual identified as 'Andrew.' The committee continues to investigate the Epstein case and plans to release more information to the public in the future.
