Former Children's Hospital Chaplain Detained by ICE Released from Butler County Jail After Asylum Revocation

A former chaplain from Children's Hospital who was detained by ICE has been released from the Butler County Jail. Ayman Soliman, originally from Egypt, had his asylum status revoked in June after being granted asylum in 2018. He filed a lawsuit against USCIS, claiming the revocation was arbitrary and that his detention violated immigration law and due process. Soliman's attorney stated that attorneys for the Department of Homeland Security filed a motion to dismiss the deportation order against him.
