The U.S. Secret Service has placed an agent on leave and revoked his security clearance after he made negative comments on social media about conservative influencer Charlie Kirk. Anthony Pough expressed his opinions on Facebook, criticizing Kirk for spreading hate and racism. Secret Service Director Sean Curran emphasized in a memo to staff the importance of not contributing to politically motivated attacks in the country. Curran reminded employees to uphold the highest standards of conduct both on and off duty, without bias towards political affiliation. Any distractions from their duty to protect will not be tolerated.
