Grammy Salute: Earth, Wind & Fire and Cyndi Lauper Tribute Events
CBS and The Recording Academy are set to pay tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire and Cyndi Lauper with two special Grammy events. The first special, "A Grammy Salute To Earth, Wind & Fire Live: The 21st Night of September," will be broadcast on Sunday, September 21 on CBS and Paramount+. The iconic band Earth, Wind & Fire will perform at the Hollywood Bowl alongside the LA Philharmonic, with special appearances by Stevie Wonder, Jonas Brothers, Jon Batiste, and Janelle Monáe. The second special, "A Grammy Salute To Cyndi Lauper: Live From The Hollywood Bowl," will air on Sunday, October 5 on CBS and Paramount+. This event will celebrate Cyndi Lauper's music as she wraps up her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour, featuring performances by Joni Mitchell, Cher, Angelique Kidjo, John Legend, SZA, and more. Both specials promise exclusive performances and tributes to these legendary artists.
