Damiano David Collaborates with Tyla and Nile Rodgers on New Track 'Talk to Me' from Funny Little Dreams Deluxe Edition
Damiano David, the lead singer of Måneskin, has collaborated with Tyla and Nile Rodgers on a new track titled "Talk to Me," released on September 12. The song is part of the deluxe edition of David's debut album Funny Little Fears, which was initially released on May 16 through Sony Music Italy and Arista Records. The deluxe version, Funny Little Dreams, features four additional tracks, including "Cinnamon" with Albert Hammond Jr., "Naked," "Mysterious Girl," and "Over."
According to a press release, David found new inspiration as he prepared for the Funny Little Fears World Tour, leading him to write "Talk to Me." He was thrilled to have Nile Rodgers contribute his solo guitar to the song, and he envisioned it as a duet. Tyla, who collaborated on the track, was drawn to its nostalgic feel and immediately connected with it. Rodgers, upon receiving the record, appreciated the vibe and wanted his guitar to serve as the third voice in the song.
David kicked off his first solo tour on September 11 at the COS Torwar in Warsaw, Poland, and will continue to perform across Europe, Australia, Asia, South America, and North America, concluding on December 16 at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland. At the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, he received two nominations for best long-form video with "Funny Little Stories" and for MTV push performance of the year with "Next Summer."
