Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, and Vishal Jethwa recently shared a fun video clip from the sets of their upcoming film Homebound. The trio was seen grooving to the latest rendition of the song Bijuriyaa from the film Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari in the video. They showcased their cool dance moves on the foot-tapping number sung by Sonu Nigam in a joint post on Instagram, captioned with \"Humein laage na nazariya #Bijuria #homebound.\".
The video features filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan playfully performing a nazar removal ritual on the trio before Janhvi Kapoor drapes a jacket over Ishaan Khatter, leading to a spontaneous and playful dance between the two. Homebound, written and directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharma Productions.
Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor play the lead roles in Homebound, a movie based on a 2020 New York Times article by Basharat Peer. The film follows the journey of two childhood friends striving to pass the national police exam, overcoming obstacles and strengthening their bond in the process.
Homebound had its world premiere at the Un Certain Regard section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on May 21, 2025. Janhvi Kapoor will also be seen in the upcoming film Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari, alongside Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf. Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Film, the rom-com is set to release on October 2, 2025.
