1587 Prime: Where NFL Superstars Meet Culinary Excellence

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are set to open a new restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri called 1587 Prime steakhouse. The restaurant will not only offer delicious food but also signature cocktails inspired by the NFL superstars and their significant others, Taylor Swift and Brittany. Mahomes' drink, "Showtime," features aged rum blend with coconut, Coors Light syrup, lime, and soda. Kelce's drink, "Big Yeti," is a mix of Gentleman's Cut Bourbon, Bulleit Rye, nocino, demerara, and bitters. Brittany's drink, "Queen B," includes Grey Goose, lychee, wildflower honey, lemon, and vanilla, while Taylor's drink, "The Alchemy," is a vodka and Pierre Ferrand dry curaƧao concoction with aronia berry, cranberry, strawberry, lime, and oolong.
The grand opening of 1587 Prime is scheduled for September 17th, which coincides with Mahomes' 30th birthday. The restaurant will also feature meals dedicated to players and a Big Red burger in honor of coach Andy Reid. Whether Mahomes will celebrate his birthday at the restaurant remains uncertain, as the Chiefs have a game against the New York Giants a few days later. Nevertheless, Kansas City fans now have a new spot to enjoy gameday and happy hour while cheering for their favorite team.
