MTV's 2025 VMAs Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne: A Night of Rock Legends
MTV's 2025 Video Music Awards (VMAs) featured a heartfelt tribute to the late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne. The ceremony included a special segment dedicated to Osbourne, with his youngest son, Jack, and grandchildren introducing the tribute in a pre-recorded video. British artist Yungblud, along with Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Steven Tyler, and guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, took the stage to perform a medley of Osbourne's classic hits. The performance began with "Crazy Train," a signature song of the former Black Sabbath frontman, with Tyler joining in to pay homage to the legendary musician. Osbourne, known as the Prince of Darkness, passed away earlier in the year after his final concert in Birmingham, U.K., due to a heart attack, coronary disease, and Parkinson's.
