MTV VMAs 2022: Lady Gaga Leads Nominations and Performances

Lady Gaga is set to dominate the MTV VMAs tonight with her multiple nominations and performance. She is up for 12 awards, including four shared with Bruno Mars for their collaboration "Die With a Smile." The event, hosted by LL Cool J, will feature several firsts, such as Rosé being the first Korean artist nominated for Video of the Year and Mariah Carey receiving the Video Vanguard Award. The Artist of the Year category features Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd. Song of the Year nominees include Alex Warren's "Ordinary," Billie Eilish's "BIRDS OF A FEATHER," Doechii's "Anxiety," Ed Sheeran's "Sapphire," Gracie Abrams' "I Love You, I'm Sorry," Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars' "Die With a Smile," Lorde's "What Was That," and ROSÉ & Bruno Mars' "APT."
