Israeli Airport Targeted by Houthi Drone Attack from Yemen: Airspace Closed and Flights Suspended

Israel's southern airport was targeted by a drone launched from Yemen by the Houthi militant group, leading to the closure of the airspace and the suspension of flights, as reported by the Israeli military on Sunday. The attack resulted in the airport being hit near the city of Eilat. Israel confirmed that the Houthis launched several drones, with some being intercepted outside of Israel. This incident follows a previous attack in May when a Houthi missile struck near Israel's main airport, causing injuries and flight cancellations. In response, Israel targeted and destroyed the main airport in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.
