Man Found Living in Condo Crawl Space Near Happy Valley, Oregon: A Startling Discovery
Authorities in the Portland, Oregon area recently made a startling discovery when they found a man living in the crawl space of a condo near Happy Valley. The man had set up the space with various items, including lights, chargers, and a bed, and had even changed the locks on the doors. The situation came to light when a witness reported seeing a man who was not a resident parking his car and entering the crawl space. Deputies arrived at the scene and found the crawl space door locked, but with signs of damage and an extension cord running through a vent. The condo owner confirmed that the crawl space should be empty and reported hearing strange noises from it in the past. When deputies finally gained access to the crawl space, they discovered 40-year-old Beniamin Bucur living inside with electronics, including a meth pipe. Bucur was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and unlawful possession of methamphetamine, with bail set at $75,000.
