Following the tragic shooting at Annunciation School and Church in south Minneapolis, other churches in the area are extending their support to the community. Annunciation Church has resumed mass services in its auditorium, with Archbishop Bernard Hebda leading services on Saturday and Sunday. On August 27th, a shooting occurred at Annunciation Church and Catholic School in south Minneapolis, prompting a swift response from law enforcement agencies. The shooter, armed with a rifle, shotgun, and pistol, fired over 100 rounds through the stained-glass windows towards children attending mass. Despite the chaos, first responders arrived quickly and rescued children hiding in the church. The shooter, who never entered the church, died by suicide in the parking lot. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara commended the officer who entered the church without protective gear, providing a sense of safety to those inside.
