Miraculous Rescue: Missing 15-Year-Old Girl Found Alive in Central Florida
A 15-year-old girl who had been missing for more than a year was found alive in Central Florida by the U.S. Marshals. The girl was reported missing in April 2024 to the Cocoa Police Department, prompting concerns from the Florida Department of Children and Families about her safety. She had a history of interactions with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, was a victim of human trafficking, and had a pending arrest warrant. Following an extensive search effort involving Apopka officials, the U.S. Marshals, and other agencies, the missing girl was located in South Apopka by the U.S. Marshals and Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force members. She was then placed in the care of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice to address a criminal issue.
