A 22-year-old woman from Murfreesboro has been charged with making a threat to murder U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn. The woman, Penelope R. Convertino, allegedly left a threatening voicemail at Senator Blackburn's Nashville satellite Senate office. In the message, Convertino threatened to shoot and kill Senator Blackburn, stating that she would blow up her head on national TV. FBI agents arrested Convertino following the incident.
