2025 DJ Awards Nominees: Celebrating Diversity in Dance Music

The 2025 DJ Awards nominees were recently revealed, showcasing a diverse array of artists from various dance/electronic music genres. The nominees include both established global stars and emerging talents in genres like Afro, techno, tech house, and house. This year, the awards have added two new categories: Balearic, celebrating the Ibiza sound and its creators, and hard dance/bounce, recognizing the genre's resurgence in the past year. Voting is now open to the public, with the ceremony details to be announced soon.

In addition to the regular categories, this year's DJ Awards will feature industry and special recognition awards suggested by a panel of music professionals. These include awards like track of the summer, party of the summer, icon award, lifetime achievement, a Middle East North Africa region award, DJ livestream of the year, and a social impact award. The DJ Awards, established in 1998, made a comeback in Ibiza last year after a break and are now under the ownership of Andy Grant.

The 2025 nominees cover a wide range of categories, including International DJ, Afro, Balearic, Breakthrough, Drum & Bass, Garage/Bassline, Hard Dance/Bounce, Hard Techno, House, Latin House/Reggaeton, Live Act, Newcomer, Progressive/Melodic House, Tech House, Techno, and Trance. Stay tuned for updates on the ceremony date and location, and don't forget to cast your vote for your favorite artists in the running for the prestigious DJ Awards.
