Kelly Clarkson Returns to The Voice for Season 29: Battle Of Champions

Kelly Clarkson is making a comeback to The Voice as a coach for the upcoming Season 29, titled Battle Of Champions. She will be joining Adam Levine and John Legend on the NBC music competition show, which is currently filming two cycles simultaneously. Clarkson missed one shoot due to the passing of her former husband, Brandon Blackstock, and Jennifer Hudson filled in for her during that time. The 28th season of The Voice is set to premiere this fall with coaches Snoop Dogg, Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, and Niall Horan.
Clarkson previously coached on The Voice for nine seasons, starting from Season 14 until Season 21. She took a break in Season 22 but returned for Season 23. Despite the speculations about McEntire's participation in Season 28 after Blackstock's death, the filming is proceeding as planned, and McEntire is fulfilling her obligations. In addition to The Voice, Clarkson is preparing for the seventh season of The Kelly Clarkson Show, set to launch in September. She is also currently featured in NBC's special, Songs & Stories, with upcoming episodes featuring Gloria Estefan, Teddy Swims, and Lizzo.
Fans can catch The Voice on NBC, with the new season expected to premiere in September. Brandon Blackstock, Clarkson's ex-husband, passed away on August 7.
