Taylor Swift has revealed her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, after a mysterious countdown on her website. The countdown ended at 12:12 a.m. ET on Aug. 12, with pre-orders now available for vinyl, CD, and cassette editions of the album. The release date is yet to be announced, but physical items are expected to ship before Oct. 13. The artwork shown on the website is a placeholder, with the official artwork and details to be revealed later.

Swift's appearance on the New Heights podcast hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce was teased, with Swift confirming her new project, The Life of a Showgirl, during the show. The full artwork for the album will be unveiled during the podcast episode airing on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET. This new album follows Swift's successful 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, released last year, which received critical acclaim and Grammy nominations.

After the conclusion of her Eras tour last December, Swift made headlines in May for reacquiring the master recordings of her first six studio albums, leading to a resurgence in streaming for her entire catalog.
