Taylor Swift has finally revealed the title of her 12th album, "The Life of a Showgirl," in a video clip shared on Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast New Heights. The announcement was made on Instagram at 12:12 a.m. E.T. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, with Swift showcasing a mint green briefcase with the letters T.S. on it. Fans can already pre-order the vinyl, cassette, and CD editions of the album, although the album cover has not been unveiled yet.

There is currently no tracklist or release date for the album, but pre-orders are set to ship on Oct. 13. Swifties first caught wind of the upcoming release when Taylor Nation shared a post featuring 12 photos of Swift in the same shade of orange, hinting at a new era. Additionally, Travis Kelce teased Swift's appearance on their podcast, sparking excitement among fans.

This album marks Swift's first new music release since gaining ownership of her first six albums following a dispute over her master recordings. After her masters were sold to Scooter Braun without her consent, Swift embarked on a re-recording project, releasing successful "Taylor's Versions" of her earlier albums.
