Tragic Drowning Incident: New Details and Legal Outcome Revealed

New details have surfaced regarding the tragic drowning of Trigg, the 3-year-old son of influencers Emilie and Brady Kiser. The police report, which was recently released with redactions, sheds light on the events leading up to the incident. Trigg was found unconscious in the pool at the family's Arizona home on May 18. The report highlighted discrepancies between the security footage and Brady's initial account of what happened. It was noted that the pool was unsecured, and Trigg was unsupervised while playing near the pool, as he did not know how to swim.

Brady informed officers that he had lost sight of Trigg for a brief period before finding him in the pool and jumping in to rescue him. However, the security footage did not align with Brady's recollection of events, prompting a second interview with him. The report concluded that Trigg's unsupervised play near the unsecured pool led to the tragic accident. It was determined that Trigg fell into the water accidentally while playing with an inflatable chair.

Both Brady and Emilie mentioned that Trigg had limited swimming skills, despite having some lessons. They acknowledged that he was not proficient in swimming and did not fully know how to swim. The absence of a pool cover and malfunctioning access doors to the backyard were also noted in the documents. The case was referred to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office for review on potential child abuse with criminal negligence charges.

Following the review, it was announced that Brady would not face child abuse charges due to insufficient evidence for a conviction. The Maricopa County Attorney's Office stated that every case is evaluated based on the likelihood of conviction, and this case did not meet that standard. Brady's attorney expressed gratitude for the thorough investigation and confirmed that the incident was a tragic accident. Brady continues to grieve and appreciates the support from his family and the community during this challenging time.
