A severe thunderstorm caused significant damage and power outages in Lincoln and surrounding areas early Saturday morning. More than 30,000 customers are currently without power, and multiple traffic lights are not functioning due to the storm. Various videos and photos captured the aftermath of the storm, showcasing uprooted trees, damaged fences, and scattered furniture.

One video showed the storm approaching Ceresco, while another depicted the storm passing through Lincoln. A tree uprooted in east Lincoln caused damage to a fence and landed on two cars. Additionally, a tree leaning against an apartment complex in southeast Lincoln was captured on video. Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to Lee Douglas Interiors after furniture was scattered across the street. More tree damage was seen in east Lincoln and heavy tree damage in northeast Lincoln.
