Bed Bath & Beyond Home Makes a Grand Entrance in Nashville: A Fresh Start for a Beloved Brand

Bed Bath & Beyond is making a comeback in Nashville with a new twist. The Brand House Collective, Inc., formerly known as Kirkland's, Inc., has announced the grand opening of its first Bed Bath & Beyond Home store in Nashville on August 8. This marks the retailer's first physical location since filing for bankruptcy and closing its stores in 2023. The addition of "Home" to the store's name signifies a fresh branding strategy for the retailer, as reported by USA TODAY. The store is also the first to open under the new name, The Brand House Collective, Inc., according to a news release.

"We're excited to reintroduce one of retail's most iconic names with the launch of Bed Bath & Beyond Home, reimagined for how families gather at home today," said CEO of The Brand House Collective, Amy Sullivan. "This isn't just a store, it's a new beginning for a brand that holds special meaning for many families. With Bed Bath & Beyond Home, we are fulfilling our mission to offer great brands for every budget in every room. It's a significant addition to our portfolio and a meaningful step in our transformation."

The exact location of the Bed Bath & Beyond Home store in Nashville has not been disclosed by The Brand House Collective. However, job listings on the company's website suggest that it may be opening in the 100 Oaks area. To celebrate the grand opening, the company is bringing back the iconic Bed Bath & Beyond coupon, a beloved tradition of the brand. Customers are encouraged to bring their legacy coupons, which will be honored by the store. For those without a coupon, a new one will be available at the door. Additionally, the first 25 customers to make a purchase will receive The Beyond Bed, a premium 10-inch memory foam queen-size mattress valued at $226.99.

Prior to partnering with Beyond Inc., The Brand House Collective had transitioned Bed Bath & Beyond's business model to online-only sales following Overstock's acquisition of the brand's intellectual property in June 2023. CEO of Overstock, Jonathan Johnson, expressed optimism about the combination of their business model and the brand's reputation, aiming to enhance the customer experience and drive market share growth. Despite the online shift, some Bed Bath & Beyond products were reintroduced in physical locations through a strategic partnership with The Container Store in late 2024. Beyond Inc. also committed to a $40 million investment in The Container Store as part of the agreement.

In conclusion, Bed Bath & Beyond is making a comeback in Nashville under the new name Bed Bath & Beyond Home, operated by The Brand House Collective, Inc. The store's grand opening will feature the return of the iconic Bed Bath & Beyond coupon and special offers for early customers. This marks a significant step in the brand's transformation and expansion into physical retail locations.
