Jin Wins Best Music: Summer Award at 2025 Fact Music Awards for 'Don't Say You Love Me
BTS member Jin has clinched the Best Music: Summer award at the 2025 Fact Music Awards for his solo track, Don't Say You Love Me. The victory was announced on July 31 after a two-week voting period on Fan&Star. Jin's second album ECHO, featuring the hit song Don't Say You Love Me, was released on May 16, 2025, and garnered the most votes from fans and listeners on Fan&Star. He will be presented with the Best Music: Summer trophy at the official ceremony on September 20, 2025.
Following the announcement of Jin's win, fans flooded social media platforms to express their joy and celebrate his achievement. The Fact Music Awards is a prestigious event that recognizes K-pop artists for their contributions to the music industry. The top 20 artists who released music, collaboration tracks, and soundtracks between April and June were eligible for the Best Music: Summer category. Jin claimed the top spot with his solo track Don't Say You Love Me, followed by SEVENTEEN's THUNDER in second place and j-hope's Killin’ It Girl in third place. The second and third-place winners will receive advertisement placements in Seoul as part of their recognition.
The Fact Music 2025 ceremony is set to take place at the Macau Outdoor Performance Venue on September 20, where Jin will be presented with his Best Music: Summer trophy. In addition to his recent award win, Jin is currently embarking on his first solo world tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP. TOUR, which kicked off in Goyang on June 28. His performance at the O2 Arena in London on August 5 marked a significant milestone, as he became the first Korean solo artist to hold a concert at the renowned venue. The show was reportedly sold out, and Jin is scheduled to perform another concert at the O2 Arena on August 6, 2025.
