Montana Manhunt: Brother of Convicted Murderer Evades Law Enforcement After Fatal Bar Shooting

The sibling of a Montana man who is currently evading law enforcement after allegedly shooting and killing four individuals in a local bar has a brother who is serving a life sentence for a stabbing incident in Anaconda, Montana. William Brown was convicted in 2002 for the murder of another man following a dispute over a relationship, receiving a 110-year prison sentence, with 100 years for the murder and 10 years for using a deadly weapon during the crime.

Michael Paul Brown, the brother of William Brown, is the suspect in the fatal shooting at The Owl Bar in Anaconda, where he reportedly gunned down four victims, including Daniel Edwin Baillie, Nancy Lauretta Kelley, David Allen Leach, and Tony Wayne Palm, all residents of Anaconda. A manhunt is currently underway in the mountainous region of central Montana to locate Brown, who is considered armed and dangerous.

The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, as authorities continue their search for Brown, who was identified through a photo released by law enforcement showing him descending concrete steps shirtless. Additionally, Brown's white Ford F-150 truck, used as a getaway vehicle, has been recovered, but he remains at large despite a SWAT team raiding his residence without success.

Law enforcement efforts to locate Brown have intensified, utilizing both air and ground resources in the search. Brown, a former Army armor crewman and National Guard member, served in Iraq from 2004 to 2005 and held the rank of sergeant upon leaving the military in 2008. He also served in the Montana National Guard until 2009.

The situation involving Michael Paul Brown's alleged involvement in the fatal shooting has sparked a significant manhunt in Montana, with authorities working tirelessly to bring him to justice and provide closure to the affected families and community.
