Victim of Cincinnati Brawl Shares Update on Injuries and Recovery

Following a violent incident in Cincinnati, one of the victims, identified as Holly, has come forward to share the extent of her injuries a week after being thrown to the ground while trying to break up a fight. Holly, visibly injured, provided an update on her condition in a video posted online, mentioning the challenges she is facing, including severe brain trauma.

Holly expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support she has received from well-wishers, acknowledging the prayers and blessings that have helped her through this difficult time. She declined to comment further on the incident to Fox News Digital.

During the July 26 brawl in Cincinnati, Holly was one of six victims who sustained injuries, with four of the six alleged assailants already arrested by authorities. Jermaine Matthews, Dominique Kittle, Montianez Merriweather, and Dekyra Vernon were taken into custody for their involvement in the fight, with Matthews being charged with multiple offenses.

New footage obtained by Fox News Digital revealed the moments leading up to the altercation, with one victim allegedly using a racial slur before the violence erupted. Witnesses described the chaotic scene, attributing the incident to alcohol consumption and expressing sympathy for Holly, who was simply trying to help.

Despite the violent nature of the brawl, Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge noted that only one person out of approximately 100 witnesses or participants contacted law enforcement. Theetge emphasized the importance of timely reporting to ensure a swift and effective police response in such situations.

In a tearful statement, Holly thanked those who have shown support and kindness to her and her family after witnessing the distressing incident. She expressed appreciation for the ongoing assistance and well wishes as she continues to recover from the ordeal.
