Rebuild and Restore: Benefit Concert for Hill Country Flood Relief
Join us this Sunday for a special benefit show supporting Hill Country's recovery after devastating flash floods. The event, hosted by CBS News Texas anchor Madison Sawyer, will feature a lineup of talented artists and special appearances by anchors Nicole Baker and Ken Molestina. The benefit concert will take place at Tannahill's Tavern & Music Hall in the Fort Worth Stockyards from 6 to 10 p.m. CT, with doors opening at 5 p.m.
The Hill Country has been deeply affected by the recent floods, with many lives lost and homes destroyed. The event aims to raise funds to help the community rebuild and restore what has been lost. Singer-songwriter Shires expressed the importance of supporting the Hill Country during this challenging time, emphasizing the need to keep the area wild, alive, and human.
In addition to the live performances, there will be a special appearance by Nashville-based musician Annabel Dwyer, who will perform a tribute song dedicated to the Guadalupe River area. Viewers can also participate in an online silent auction featuring signed memorabilia, fan experiences, and getaway packages. Donations to the flood relief fund are encouraged and can be made through the auction website.
Don't miss this opportunity to support the Hill Country community in their recovery efforts. Join us for a night of music, fundraising, and solidarity as we come together to help those in need.
