Billboard's World Albums Chart: BTS Dominates with 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE' and More!
The latest World Albums chart by Billboard for the week ending on August 2 has been released! Topping the chart this week is BTS's first live album "PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE," which also made it to the top 10 of the Billboard 200. BTS's anthology album "Proof" secured the No. 8 spot, followed by Jin's solo mini album "Echo" at No. 14 and Jimin's solo album "MUSE" at No. 15. ATEEZ's "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3" claimed the No. 2 position, while ENHYPEN's "DESIRE : UNLEASH" and "ROMANCE : UNTOLD" landed at No. 3 and No. 18, respectively. ILLIT's "bomb" maintained its position at No. 7.
Stray Kids made a significant impact on the World Albums chart with four entries. Their special album "合 (HOP)" secured No. 9, followed by "ATE" at No. 12, "★★★★★ (5-STAR)" at No. 23, and "ROCK-STAR" at No. 25. Despite not having a physical release in the U.S., TXT's "The Star Chapter: TOGETHER" debuted at No. 10 based on digital sales. SEVENTEEN's "HAPPY BURSTDAY" and NewJeans' "Get Up" held strong at No. 11 and No. 17, respectively. RIIZE's "ODYSSEY" entered at No. 21, while BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" ranked at No. 22.
