Paris Jackson and Justin Long Call Off Engagement: A Look at Their Relationship Journey

Paris Jackson and her fiancé Justin Long have decided to end their engagement. The singer-songwriter, 27, and her music producer partner have called it quits, as confirmed by PEOPLE. Jackson shared the news of their split in a post on X, expressing her emotions through "breakup tears" in photos that were recently published by the Daily Mail. The couple got engaged in December, with Jackson expressing her love and gratitude for Long in an Instagram post that has since been deleted.

In an interview with Access Hollywood in June, Jackson mentioned that she was actively involved in planning their wedding, with the dress being made, the venue chosen, and the date selected by an astrologer. She also shared that Long accompanied her to the premiere of her film One Spoon of Chocolate at the Tribeca Festival. Jackson, who is the daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, has previously discussed her views on marriage and relationships, emphasizing her focus on spirituality and music at the moment.

During an episode of Red Table Talk in 2021, Jackson mentioned that she is open to the idea of marriage if she finds the right person but is currently prioritizing other aspects of her life. She also revealed on the Unfiltered: Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn series that she has dated more women than men in her life, highlighting her fluid approach to relationships. Jackson, who marked five years of sobriety in January, released her debut album Wilted in 2020 and has continued to release EPs and singles since then.

Reflecting on her time on tour with Incubus, Jackson expressed gratitude for the experiences she had during the summer. Despite the end of her engagement with Long, Jackson remains focused on her music career and personal growth.
