Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty to Assault Charge at London Nightclub

Singer Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm at a London nightclub. Brown denied the accusations during a court appearance at Southwark Crown Court. His co-defendant also denied the same charge. They are accused of assaulting a man and having an offensive weapon in a public place. A further court hearing is scheduled for July 11. Brown, who is on conditional bail, has been performing on his international tour. The alleged incident took place at Tape nightclub in London, where the victim was reportedly struck with a bottle and assaulted. Brown was arrested in Manchester and released on bail with financial conditions. A trial is set for October next year.
