Working closely with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Hakim shared that "Animal" required multiple distinct looks for Kapoor's character, Ranvijay Singh. Vanga wanted the character to have different long hair styles to reflect various stages in his life, giving Hakim the opportunity to experiment with different looks while maintaining character consistency.
The turning point came when Hakim discovered that Ranvijay was a fan of Michael Jackson. Drawing inspiration from Jackson's iconic leather jacket and white t-shirt style, Hakim incorporated elements of Jackson's curls and man bun into Kapoor's hairstyle for the film. By studying Jackson's fashion legacy and recreating his signature looks, Hakim ensured that Kapoor's character paid a subtle tribute to the King of Pop.
