Coldplay's 'Speed Of Sound' Revival and Future Plans: Exclusive Interview with Chris Martin

Coldplay recently performed their song 'Speed Of Sound' in full for the first time since 2016 during their 'Music Of The Spheres' tour in North America. The band played the track in El Paso, Texas, where frontman Chris Martin expressed his desire to reclaim the song and make it tighter and quicker. This performance marked the first time in nearly a decade that Coldplay played 'Speed Of Sound' in its entirety.
The band is set to continue their tour with stadium shows in August at Hull's Craven Park Stadium and London's Wembley Stadium. Their 'Music Of The Spheres' tour has been a massive success, breaking records and receiving praise for its eco-conscious approach to live music. Coldplay will also donate 10% of the proceeds from the shows to the Music Venue Trust to support grassroots music venues and emerging artists.
In an exclusive interview, Chris Martin revealed that Coldplay plans to release two more albums before retiring from music. The band's 11th album will be a musical, followed by a final album simply titled 'Coldplay'. The last single from Coldplay, 'All My Love', will be featured on the 11th album, with the final album expected to be released a year later than originally planned.
