Tragic Hit-and-Run Incident: Pregnant Woman Killed in Brooklyn After Fender-Bender

A hit-and-run driver who allegedly intentionally struck a pregnant woman in Brooklyn following a fender-bender has been apprehended in South Carolina and charged with murder. The victim, Tiffany Cifuni, was involved in a minor collision with the suspect, Chaquasia Pigford, while driving home from a Beyoncé concert. Cifuni confronted Pigford after the incident, leading to a fatal encounter captured on video. Pigford allegedly dragged Cifuni along the street before fleeing the scene and crashing into other vehicles. Cifuni succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, leaving her family devastated. Pigford faces multiple charges, including murder and leaving the scene of a fatal crash, and was located in South Carolina after the incident. The victim's husband, James Cifuni, expressed his grief over the loss of his wife, who was pregnant at the time of her death. Pigford is awaiting arraignment in Brooklyn Supreme Court.
