j-hope's Solo Journey: From Controversy to Success

BTS' j-hope recently dropped his latest solo single, Killin' it Girl, along with a music video that sparked controversy among netizens. Some accused the video of sharing similarities with BLACKPINK's Lisa's music video for ROCKSTAR. Despite the plagiarism allegations, fans defended j-hope, stating that the elements in question are common in the music industry.
After completing his military service in October 2024, j-hope made a comeback by participating in various events. He threw the first pitch at the 2024 Korean Game Series and attended the opening of Audemars Piguet AP House Seoul Flagship. In February 2025, he released his first music project, LV BAG ft. Don Toliver, produced by Pharrell Williams. This was followed by the announcement of his solo world tour, HOPE ON THE STAGE, which concluded on June 14 in Seoul.
