Travis Decker Manhunt: Three Missing Girls Found Dead, Father Suspected as Killer

Three young girls from Washington were reported missing and later found dead, with their father, Travis Decker, suspected as the killer. The girls, Olivia, Evelyn, and Paityn Decker, were last seen on May 30 while visiting their father, who was living out of his vehicle at the time. Decker is wanted on charges of murder, kidnapping, and custodial interference as the manhunt for him continues.
Authorities released new images of Decker on June 6, as they continue to search for him. The girls' mother reported them missing after Decker failed to return them from a planned visit. Police began searching for Decker and the girls, tracking his vehicle's movements and issuing alerts to locate them.
On June 2, the bodies of the three girls were found near a campground, but Decker remains at large. The case has sparked criticism of authorities for their handling of the situation, with some social media users expressing disappointment in the response time. The U.S. Forest Service issued a closure for the area where the girls were found, urging caution to those in the vicinity.
Search efforts have expanded to forested areas, the river, and structures in the area where Decker was last seen. Washington governor Bob Ferguson announced the use of emergency funds to aid in the search for Decker. The Chelan County Sheriff's Office is working with the U.S. Marshals to locate Decker, offering a reward for information leading to his arrest.
Decker, a military veteran with wilderness survival skills, is considered dangerous and should not be approached. Authorities released video footage and photos of Decker to aid in his identification. He is described as 5-feet-8, 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on Decker's whereabouts is urged to contact the Chelan County Sheriff's Office tip line or call 911 if he is spotted.
