The lineup includes Meghan Trainor, Jon Rudnitsky, Heidi N’ Closet, and Andrea Jin, with the trailer debuting at the 2025 Tribeca Festival.

The comedy special "Sunhinged" is part of a new campaign targeting Gen Z consumers to address their sunscreen habits. E.l.f. highlights that 64% of Gen Zers often forget to apply SPF, with only 34% considering skin cancer prevention as a motivating factor. Through humor and visibility, the special aims to shed light on this significant gap in the skincare routines of the brand's core demographic.

Kory Marchisotto, CMO at e.l.f. Beauty, emphasized the importance of reaching Gen Z consumers through comedy to reinforce the message about SPF application. This initiative also marks the launch of e.l.f. Made, the brand's in-house entertainment studio, in collaboration with Above Average, a comedy production company founded by Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video.

In addition to promoting the comedy special, the campaign showcases e.l.f. SKIN's Suntouchable SPF line, featuring lightweight, vegan formulas designed to provide effective sun protection without leaving a white cast or greasy residue. The collaboration with Above Average and the focus on entertainment-forward campaigns demonstrate e.l.f.'s commitment to staying culturally relevant and engaging with consumers through innovative content.
