Rep. Norma Torres Calls for ICE Removal from Los Angeles Amid Riots
Los Angeles, California, has been experiencing riots for the past three days due to the efforts of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to remove illegal immigrants from the area. Democratic congresswoman Rep. Norma Torres (D-CA) expressed her displeasure with ICE agents and their role in the riots on social media. In a video posted on her TikTok account and later on her personal X account, Torres explicitly told ICE to leave Los Angeles to restore order. She also blamed ICE for causing instability, chaos, and violence, which she believes is for the benefit of the current administration in the White House.
