A prominent political activist, Alassane Abba, who was reportedly abducted by Mali's military authorities, has been freed after being held captive for a month, according to his family. Abba, a key figure in the former political party Codem, was released and left on a road in Bamako, Mali's capital, as confirmed by his son, Alhousseini Jannatta Alassane.
