Chad Halts Visa Issuance to U.S. Citizens in Response to Trump Administration's Ban
Chad's President Mahamat Idriss Deby declared that Chad would halt the issuance of visas to U.S. citizens as a response to the Trump administration's decision to ban Chadians from entering the U.S. President Donald Trump reinstated a visa ban on 12 countries, including Chad, citing inadequate screening and vetting processes and a history of not accepting their citizens who overstay in the U.S.
