"Elkan Signs Global Publishing Deal with Avex Music Group: The Future of Music with Toibox"

In addition to this, AMG has collaborated with Elkan on his JV publishing company, Toibox by Elkan. This partnership will see Elkan's entire catalog, both past works and future projects, being published through AMG. Elkan has already achieved significant success this year with production credits on Drake's "Nokia," reaching No. 2 on the Hot 100, and co-writing Rihanna's latest single "Friend of Mine" for the upcoming film Smurfs. Toibox, a venture between AMG and Elkan, aims to support and nurture selected writers and producers, with the first signees being Kavin Smith and Luke "Cobali" Gobrial. Elkan's journey in music production began in Freetown, Sierra Leone, where he started experimenting with FL Studio as a child. His passion for production led him to pursue it full-time by the age of 18. Over the years, Elkan has collaborated with notable artists such as Metro Boomin and Lecrae, earning his first Grammy in 2024 for his work on Church Clothes 4. Apart from his production work, Elkan is also signed as an artist to Atlantic Records.
