The man, identified as 26-year-old Osean McClintock, was reported by a concerned community member for attempting to open a woman's car door outside a middle school. Responding officers located McClintock, who began chanting about Jesus and refused to cooperate with their commands. A physical altercation ensued when he tried to grab a female officer's gun from her patrol car. Despite her efforts to escape, McClintock managed to take the gun and pointed it at her while repeating religious phrases. As the male officer approached the scene, McClintock refused to surrender the gun and got into the driver's seat of the patrol car. The male officer fired multiple shots at him, resulting in McClintock's death. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and could take up to a year to conclude due to the involvement of an officer.
