Living in San Francisco with his rescuers, Josh Row and Kei Koc, Alex has amassed a following of 100,000 on Instagram and TikTok. Known as "Alex the Great," this 4-year-old rabbit has become a social media sensation through brand partnerships, celebrity encounters, and appearances at San Francisco Giants' games. And he does it all in style, cruising around in his custom-made toy Mercedes-Benz, specially adapted by Row so Alex can take the wheel. Rescued from a meat farm in Modesto, California at just three and a half weeks old, Alex was a chance find for Row and Koc, who were looking for a docile rabbit to accompany them on their volunteer work. Since then, Alex has become a certified therapy animal through the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, bringing comfort and joy to those in need. From hospitals to airports to charity events, Alex's fluffy presence has touched many lives, often bringing tears of joy to fans and strangers alike. One particularly moving encounter for Row was when a woman approached him and Alex on the street, overcome with emotion at the sight of the giant rabbit. She shared that her father, in his final days, had spoken of a rabbit visiting him in the hospital. The woman thought it was a figment of his imagination until a hospice nurse confirmed the visit. Meeting Alex, the rabbit who brought her father so much happiness, brought her to tears. Row and Koc never imagined the impact Alex would have on others when they first rescued him. But Alex's true passion lies in sports. A self-proclaimed "Bay Area sport fanatic," Alex made his mark at San Francisco Giants' games in 2021 while training for animal-assisted therapy. Now a regular fixture at Oracle Park, Alex hops around the stadium, greeting fans and making appearances that have caught the attention of commentators. He even has his own baseball cards, thanks to a contract with Topps, an American collectible company. Alex truly is a rabbit of many talents, spreading joy and smiles wherever he goes.]]
