"The Tragic Story of Sandra Gallagher: A Victim of the Casanova Killer"

[!CDATA[Sandra Gallagher was known for brightening people's days by giving them flowers. She was a trusting and kind-hearted person who enjoyed making others smile. However, her trusting nature may have led to her tragic encounter with a serial killer known as the "Casanova Killer" 30 years ago. On the night of September 28, 1995, Gallagher gave a man she had met at a bar a ride, which turned out to be one of the last moments of her life. She became one of the five victims connected to the Casanova Killer, who is set to be executed in Florida. The Casanova Killer, Glen Edward Rogers, targeted women with reddish hair in their 30s, three of whom were mothers. Gallagher, a married mother of three boys, was celebrating a Keno win when Rogers noticed her at a bar. He approached her, and they were seen dancing and being playful before she agreed to give him a ride. Tragically, Gallagher's body was found in her burning truck the next morning, strangled and set on fire. Rogers went on to kill two more women in Louisiana and Florida before being captured. Gallagher's sister, Jerri Vallicella, described her as an amazing person who always wanted to help others. Gallagher had a tough childhood but knew how to have fun, even being the first punk rocker in her town. She served in the Navy and visited death row inmates in Leavenworth, Kansas, as part of a military program. Gallagher was planning to start a new chapter in her life before she was killed, leaving behind her three sons and a legacy of kindness and compassion. The families of the Casanova Killer's victims have been waiting for justice for decades. Mary Dicke, the mother of victim Tina Marie Cribbs, fought cancer to see the day Rogers would be executed. Dicke's determination to witness Rogers' execution shows the lasting impact of the Casanova Killer's crimes on the victims' families. As the anniversary of the murders approaches, the memories of Sandra Gallagher and the other victims serve as a reminder of the importance of seeking justice and honoring their lives.]]
