ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter, a Republican who represents Georgia’s coastal 1st congressional district, announced on Thursday he is running for U.S. Senate.Carter announced his campaign by releasing an ad that billed him as a “MAGA warrior.”Carter, who has been in Congress since 2015, is running to unseat U.S. Sen.
