Rescuers in training discover body of hiker missing for months, Vermont cops say
The body of a hiker missing for months was found during a search and rescue training exercise, Vermont police said.The body is “believed to be that of missing hiker Sue Mi Ko,” a 51-year-old from Craftsbury who vanished on a hike in January near the Mount Pisgah trailhead, Vermont State Police said in a news release.Search and rescue crews found her body several hundred yards from the trailhead during the April 30 training near Lake Willoughby in Westmore, officials said.The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of her death, and ..
